What is an ERP interface?
An ERP interface is a connection between two components - the ERP solution and another system. An ERP system is a software solution that is available on the market from different providers and accordingly in different variants. The so-called "Enterprise Resource Planning" basically has the task to perform resource planning within a company. ERP systems consist of individual modules, which in turn use a common database and communicate with each other.
The application thus allows the entire enterprise resource planning to be mapped and managed at any time - clearly, transparently, efficiently and thus cost-consciously. Many companies already benefit from the advantages of ERP software. In addition, however, internal business processes may require the use of specific planning software for the detailed planning of limited capacities. In order to benefit from both, a corresponding interface or ERP connection is a good idea.
